Question. What are the most popular cosmetic dermatology treatments?
Answer. Injectable products, such as Botox and skin fillers, are among the most common treatments, but there are many, many more. Chemical peels are very popular for improving skin texture and reducing blemishes, and microdermabrasion is a wonderful way to soften fine lines and reveal a fresher, more youthful appearance. Question. What is the difference between Botox and fillers?
Answer. Although both treat fine lines and wrinkles, they work in different ways. Botox is used successfully on so-called “dynamic” wrinkles, in other words, those caused by muscle movements (think frown lines, crow’s feet, etc.)
Fillers are used to treat deeper wrinkles, those caused by facial loss or sagging. As the name suggests, they essentially fill the area under wrinkles or lines, adding fullness and volume.

Question. How old is too old to undergo treatment?
Answer. As long as you’re healthy, you’re never too old. In fact, treatments such as dermal fillers actively stimulate natural collagen production, making them a great option for improving skin health and appearance. There is no reason why people aged 70, 80 or even 90 should not take advantage of the latest cutting-edge procedures.
